Watch: Benson Boone Flips for 'SNL' and Keeps Fans Keen with New Shirtless Post

Kilian Melloy READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Benson Boone's flippant style was celebrated, and parodied, in a series of promos for the next episode of "Saturday Night Live." Meanwhile, Gay Twitter went nuts for Boone's latest thirst trap!

In the first of the "SNL" promo spots, Quinta Brunson announces that she will be the host of this weekend's installment of the show, adding that Boone will be the musical guest. When Boone fails to appear – "he was supposed to flip into frame," "SNL" cast member Sarah Sherman says – Brunson and Sherman begin calling out for him in concern – only for the athletic pop star to come flying into their midst. Landing on his feet, the "Beautiful Things" singer grins, "Gotcha!"

In the second promo spot, the three are lined up side-by-side as Sherman exclaims, "I can't believe you're here, Quinta! I'm gonna flip!"

Boone interjects: "Me too!"

"No, don't!" cautions Brunson – a warning that Sherman fails to heed in the third promo, in which Brunson asks, "Benson, are you gonna do a flip?"

"We'll see!" Boone replies.

"I'll do one!" Sherman volunteers... with unfortunate consequences.

While fans wait to see Boone perform his songs (and, possibly, stunts) this weekend, they can check out a new thirst trap showing the famously ripped singer showing off his abs in a pair of nighttime surf-side photos.

As the thirsty pair of images made their way across the internet, Gay Twitter shared some thoughts.
