Slumber Party: Rediscovering The Jefferson Hotel
EDGE null READ TIME: 2 MIN.
In March, 2013, The Jefferson Hotel began a three-phase reconstruction project. The hotel's 262 guest rooms have been quietly rebuilt into 181 spacious new rooms, including 15 suites. The enlarged floor plans feature entry foyers, dressing areas and luxurious new marbled baths including soaking tubs, walk-in showers and television screens in the vanity mirrors.
Each of the hotel's magnificent public spaces has received a refresh, including new furnishings in the Rotunda and Palm Court lobbies that convey the residential feel of the guest rooms. The century-old Rotunda ceiling has been fully restored to preserve it for generations to come.
Lemaire, the hotel's celebrated dinner service restaurant and lounge, received new furnishings. The signature ballroom spaces -- Grand Ballroom, Empire Room and Flemish Room -- have been redecorated with fresh, new color palates and draperies along with new LED lighting and carpeting.
This comprehensive renovation has left the historic property nearly brand new while the hotel's legendary service has remained unwavering. The hotel has again been recognized as both a AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star award winner for 2017, making The Jefferson Hotel one of just 51 hotels in the United States to simultaneously hold these two prestigious designations.
"The hotel has long been known for its breathtaking public spaces, exceptional service and beautiful dcor. This project has allowed us to elevate an already unique travel experience to the next level of luxury," says Joseph Longo, Managing Director.
A Grand Re-Opening Celebration offer provides a limited-time value for guests to experience the all new Jefferson Hotel for themselves. Rates from just $250.00 per night are being offered for Grand Premier Rooms from May 26 - September 5, 2017.
