Get Wood, Plant Wood: Porno Site Celebrates Arbor Day

Move over Johnny Appleseed! Planting trees just got a whole lot hotter.

In continuing celebration of Arbor Day, the owners of Pornhub are sprucing up America with a rewards program aimed to make supporting the environment sexy.

In a notice to users posted on one of the few SFW (safe for workplace) pages of their website, Pornhub's owners state:

"This Arbor Day Pornhub will do what it does best and give America some serious wood by donating 1 tree for every 100 videos viewed in our Big Dick category. The more videos that are viewed, the more trees we will plant!"

As of this writing, popular Pornhub titles like "Rump Ranger - Scene 4," "My Brother's Hot Friend," and "Girth Brooks and Jake Cruise" are just three of the over 1.3 million titles in the Big Dick category whose views may be responsible for planting over 13,000 trees.

"At Pornhub, we give a countless amount of wood every day," Pornhub communications representative Mike Williams told Mashable . "Playing off that, we saw an opportunity to promote our brand and give back to the community."

Although Arbor Day 2014 (celebrated the last Friday in April) came and went, according to Pornhub, it will keep coming until Friday, May 2. Users will have until midnight on May 2 to participate in the program, after which Pornhub will finalize an agreement with a tree-planting organization and start planting seed.

"Whatever the species, our trees will grow up to be long and hard and, with any luck, they will go on to spread seed of their own," Williams told Mashable,

Pornhub's Arbor Day promotion isn't the company's first thrust into the forum of philanthropy. In 2012, the mega porn site donated money per clicks on breast-related film clips as part of a Breast Cancer Awareness month.
